Heinz Complaint Center






In Italy, ketchup on pasta is clearly ridiculously wrong. No doubts about it. Yet, people in the UK were having the audacity to question it. On World's Pasta day, just a month after the launching of the new Heinz Tomato Ketchup Pasta Sauce in the UK, Heinz Italy decided to give Italians the opportunity to end this nonsense by setting up a giant billboard with Heinz UK complaint center’s telephone number in the center of Milan. Through a classic english phone booth, Italians were able to send their complaints about the new product directly to them.

Hundreds of calls later, the debate still goes on. Unfortunately (or luckily?) not everyone in the UK understands Italian.
